Katrina Kaif is hoping Raajneeti will get her a National Award | Bollywood | Hollywood
Katrina Kaif is hoping the film Prakash Jha’s Raajneeti will get her a National Award. Katrina Kaif, of course says, “The script of the film is exactly as it was. And I certainly don’t think I’m winning the National Award.”
A source on the sets says, “Katrina Kaif is very keen on winning a National Award. She doesn’t seem to hanker after the rest of the awards, but yes, on the sets she often mentioned that winning the National Award would mean the world to her.”
An insider adds that, in her own clever way, Katrina Kaif has told filmmaker Prakash Jha to try and give her a couple of dramatic scenes with the twice National Award-winning actor Ajay Devgan. And she is hopeful that Raajneeti is her big ticket to India’s biggest acting honour.
However, it is said that the actress even volunteered a price-cut but is keen that she is able to match histrionics with the other award-winning actors... and has said this to Prakash Jha in so many words.

Vipul Shah shoot Aishwarya Rai's holi song without water

Celebrity News | Bollywood | Hollywood
Vipul Shah Recently shoot Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s entry sequence for Action Replay, with a holi song with a specialised camera. He had decided to shoot the song as an exotic affair with lots of water and colour in every frame. But after realising the fact that the city was facing a water crisis the preparations were later called off and shoot the holi song without water.
Vipul Shah was very forthcoming about his change of heart. “Yes it is true that we are not going ahead with the earlier planned water sequence in the holi song as we would have used at least 70-80 tankers of water for the three day shoot. It is an elaborate song with 500 extras and 150 dancers involved. I was very excited about it but then realised the magnitude of the water scarcity the city is facing.
Aishwarya also opined that we should not go ahead with the plan. Both of us were on the same page on this. We have now decided to shoot it in a different way. The entire visual of the song has been reworked - it will still be a holi song but without water. It will be completely dry.”
