Bipasha Basu will be playing the glamorous junkie from Goa opposite Telugu star Rana Daggubati in the film in Rohan Sippy’s Dum Maro Dum . The film’s remaining star cast has been finalised earlier - Abhishek Bachchan, Pratik and Aditya Pancholi.

Rohan sounded excited as he confirmed the development, “Yes we have signed Bipasha for the film as she fits the character perfectly.” Reacting to reports that Bipasha’s character is modelled on flower child Zeenat Aman played in Dev Anand’s Hare Rama Hare Krishna, he said, “Zeenat Aman is my all time favourite and I hold her in high esteem.

There is no one who can be like her but yes, Bipasha has appeal and connects well with the audience.

But the film has nothing to do with Hare Rama Hare Krishna, except elements like gangsters, drugs and the fact that it is set in Goa.” Shooting for the film starts in two weeks.

Robert Pattinson the ‘Twilight’ star has revealed he found his sex scenes with Uma Thurman in new movie ‘Bel Ami’ ‘disturbing’ because her character uses sex as a ‘weapon’.


Robert Pattinson gets steamy with the screen beauty in the film in which he plays Parisian journalist Georges Duroy, but insists it was far from erotic because of the movie’s plot, reports gossipblender.com.

‘The sex scenes with Uma are kind of disturbing. Her character Madeleine kind of uses sex as a sort of weapon and my character thinks like an animal. There are a lot of sex scenes in this film, so I’m asking quite a lot of myself, and with lots of different people as well,’ he said.

The movie is a big screen adaptation of French author Guy de Maupassant’s 19th Century novel ‘Bel Ami’ in which an ambitious young Duroy sleeps his way to the top.

Film fans may also see Robert Pattinson get steamy with Christina Ricci and Kristin Scott Thomas, who also star in the movie.
