Pankaj Kapoor creates history in Bollywood

Bollywood actor Pankaj Kapoor is reported to have become the first Indian actor to dub at Canongate Studio in Edinburgh, which in fact is one of the poshest post-production centres in the world.

Pankaj Kapoor had been there to dub for Bhavna Talwar's ‘Happi’, where Pankaj Kapoor features as in the role of Charlie Chaplinesque, a homeless tramp. It is said that most of the dialogues and sounds have been captured live.

According to sources, Pankaj Kapoor had to leave for Scotland to shoot for his first directorial venture ‘Mausam’. And it was then suggested that he dub the vital lines in Edinburgh.

As a matter of fact, this is the studio where Sean Connery dubs for all his films.

Pankaj Kapoor said to have been there along with son Shahid Kapoor.
