Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi is all set to tie the knot with a Bangalore girl Priyanka Alva, daughter of danseuse and social worker Ms. Nandini Alwa, wife of former Karnataka Minister and Senior Janata Dal leader Jeevaraj Alwa.
The wedding has been fixed on October 29. Like Abhishekha Bachchan, now Vivek Oberoi will become the son-in-law of Dakshina Kannada, a coastal belt of Karnataka. Both Aishwarya and Priyanka belong to the Bunt community. Shilpa Shetty who had married Businessman Raj Kundra is also from the same area.
Sources from Ms. Alva`s family told Sify.com that the engagement ceremony will be held in the first week of September at Bangalore. Priyanaka is a business managedment graduate from London. She is also a well known dancer who has deep interest in protecting ecology and animals.
Vivek Oberoi earlier was in the news for wrong reasons and for his closeness to Aishwarya Rai. He was enaged to model Gurpreet a few years ago, but the engagement broke up soon. Many a times he has been linked with many models and actors like Niru Bajwa and Jacqueline Fernandez.
