Rihanna and Drake recently appeared together in a very steamy video for their song “What’s My Name?” During an interview promoting her new album “Loud,” she came clean about their relationship.
Rihanna said that they were not really sure what was going on at the time. She said that she was definitely attracted to Drake, but she just figured it is what it is. Rihanna continued on by explaining that their relationship together was very brief. A lot of this had to do with ill timing.
See, this “would-have-been great” relationship came just after Rihanna had her big break up with Chris Brown. During this time Rihanna talked a lot about not being ready to move on to someone new just yet. However, it was also during this time that she met Drake.
Since she just had that big blowout with Chris Brown after he assaulted her, it’s safe to say that she needed a bit of time. At the same time, she was having feelings for Drake.
