Bollywood actress Juhi Chawla is getting set to portray a new role in her acting career. She will be seen in the role of a widow in the upcoming film I AM that is directed by renowned filmmaker Onir.
The film is about the world as seen through the eyes of a widow who goes back to her hometown after many years. Juhi Chawla's role has been modeled on the real life story of actor Sanjay Suri's mother, who lost her husband to terrorist violence in Kashmir and had to leave her home with kids for safety reasons.
The film was shot in Srinagar despite the fact that it is one of the most difficult places to shoot in. But, Onir was adamant to capture the reality of the emotion and along with Juhi Chawla and Sanjay Suri's mother made sure that he shot the entire sequence in Kashmir.
