Vidya Balan on Playing a S-e-x Bomb Vidya Balan is turning out to be a woman of contradictions. The prim and propah nari clad in a sari can dare to bare too, quite aptly proves Vidya with her next film Dirty Picture # in which she plays Silk Smitha, the sex bomb from south.

South siren Silk Smitha was known for her unabashed display of sexuality on screen in the 1980s. She worked in over 200 South Indian films and her life ended mysteriously when she was found dead in her Chennai apartment in 1996. She was just 35 years old.

Director Milan Luthria, riding high on the success of Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai, is directing a film titled Dirty Picture on Silk Smitha and has roped in Vidya Balan for the lead role.
