Keira Knightley leaves England to save tax

British beauty Keira Knightley no longer calls England home as she has settled in the US to save taxes. 

 

The 25-year-old actress, has left Britain for the US to avoid the higher taxes in her native country, reported Daily Mail online.

Paperwork lodged with Companies House shows Knightley, listed as director of her firm Ponder Rights, has changed her country of usual residence to the US. The ''Pirates of the Caribbean'' has been on the move recently. She had been living in a loft apartment in East London, owned by her mother.

Then she and boyfriend actor Rupert Friend, 28, were said to have set up home on a canal boat in the city. Last month there were reports they had bought a USD 3 million country retreat in France.
